Q. Why should we choose you over the many other photographers out there?
A. With over fifteen years experience working in the many facets of the industry, I've gained experience in areas that most photographers will never achieve in a life time. With this in mind you can be rest assured that you are in the right hands and that my images will meet your high expectations.
Q. Some other photographers keep the full copyrights on the images and only supply a CD with
low resolution images to use as proofs along with the prints. Therefore you have to go back to them to get copies of the originals. What is your stance on this?
A. When photographers do this it is a way to keep you going back to them, and to keep control of their images, this usually costs hundreds more when you do get them to print for you. I believe you have hired me to take
your pictures so therefore you should have full access to them. I do not hold your images hostage so as to gain more money from you when you want more copies. Also they usually only keep the images for a set period of time before you are expected to buy them or they are destroyed, and what if their business is not around anymore when you do want more copies.
When I supply the prints they will be accompanied by a CD containing the
high resolution images so as you can get them printed anywhere even from your own computer and you can make as many copies of the disk as you like, to give to friends or as a backup.
Q. How do I know the photos will turn out the way I want them?
A. The simple answer is you don't, we all see things differently, however with a short meeting over a cup of coffee to discuss your needs and ideas, some planning on my behalf and the ability to change things in post-production, I am yet to have a disappointed client. I also offer a money back guaranty if you are not happy.
Q. I have some special requirements of the shoot that is not on your list of packages.
A. Every shoot is different, so the packages described are a basic guideline. I am happy to work out a portrait, wedding or commercial shoot that works for you.
Q. How long will my prints last?
A. The basic prints are all done using long life archival quality paper and inks which are specified to last 25 years, but remember that all prints are accompanied by a CD containing the High Resolution images. So if you lose a print or you want copies for family or friends you can get more printed anywhere. Effectively making the photos last forever.
Q. What if I have blemishes on the day of shooting?
A. This is an easy fix. In post-production of the photos I will remove any unwanted marks or blemishes giving you the perfect look and helping you to look your best, I can even digitally add or remove make-up.
Q. Do you have backup in case of equipment failure?
A. Yes, I always have a backup camera and many lenses to choose from in case of failures.
